Archiving Policy
Jurnal Integrasi Multi Disiplin (JIMD) is committed to the long-term preservation of all published content. To ensure the accessibility and availability of scholarly work for future generations, the journal implements the following archiving strategies:
1. Digital Archiving
All published articles are permanently archived and preserved in the following digital repositories and platforms:
-
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): JIMD uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, allowing them to preserve journal content with secure and decentralized backup.
-
PKP PN (Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network): For journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS), the PKP Preservation Network provides free preservation services, ensuring that all content remains accessible even in the event of technical failure.
2. Institutional and Subject Repositories
Authors are encouraged to deposit a copy of their published articles in institutional or subject-based repositories, personal websites, or any other archive system, provided proper citation and acknowledgment of the original publication in JIMD.
3. Self-Archiving Policy
JIMD allows authors to self-archive both pre-print (before peer review) and post-print (after peer review) versions of their manuscripts, as well as the final published version (publisher’s PDF), in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License (CC BY 4.0).
