Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Integrasi Multi Disiplin (JIMD) undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of the published work.

Review Stages:

  1. Initial Screening
The editorial team reviews each submission to ensure it aligns with the journal's focus and scope, and checks for basic formatting, language quality, and plagiarism using appropriate tools.

  2. Double-Blind Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous throughout the review process.

  3. Reviewer Evaluation
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:

    • Originality and contribution to knowledge

    • Clarity and structure

    • Methodological soundness

    • Relevance and depth of discussion

    • Proper use of references

  4. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editor will decide to:

    • Accept the manuscript

    • Request revisions (minor or major)

    • Reject the manuscript

  5. Revision Process
If revisions are required, authors are expected to respond to reviewers' comments and resubmit the revised manuscript within the specified time frame. Revised manuscripts may be sent back to reviewers for a second round of evaluation.

  6. Final Decision and Publication
Once a manuscript is accepted, it goes through the final editing and layout process before being published in the upcoming issue.

The average time from submission to first decision is approximately 2–4 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and response times.

JIMD is committed to maintaining a fair, timely, and transparent review process, and we highly appreciate the valuable contributions of our peer reviewers.
