Publication Ethics
Jurnal Integrasi Multi Disiplin (JIMD) is fully committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and maintaining the integrity of the academic record. The following ethical guidelines apply to all parties involved in the publication process: authors, editors, peer reviewers, and journal managers. These guidelines are adapted from the principles set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
1. Responsibilities of Authors
-
Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration elsewhere.
-
Proper citations and references must be provided to acknowledge the work of others and to avoid plagiarism.
-
All individuals who have made significant contributions to the research should be listed as co-authors.
-
Authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may influence the research or its interpretation.
-
If a significant error or inaccuracy is discovered after publication, authors must promptly notify the journal editor to retract or correct the manuscript.
2. Responsibilities of Editors
-
Editors are responsible for making fair and unbiased decisions regarding the acceptance, revision, or rejection of manuscripts.
-
Editors must ensure the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and must not disclose information about a manuscript to anyone other than those directly involved in the review process.
-
Editors must not use unpublished information from submitted manuscripts for their own research purposes.
-
Editors are responsible for ensuring a transparent, objective, and timely peer review process.
3. Responsibilities of Peer Reviewers
-
Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback on the manuscript’s scholarly content and contribution to the field.
-
Reviewers must maintain confidentiality of the manuscript and must not use the information for personal advantage.
-
Reviewers should notify the editor if they suspect plagiarism, duplication, or any form of research misconduct.
-
Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest and decline the review if a potential bias exists.
4. Responsibilities of Journal Managers
-
Journal managers are responsible for ensuring that the editorial process adheres to the principles of academic integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing.
-
They must provide clear guidance to authors, reviewers, and editors on all aspects of the journal’s policies.

Ensure all published articles are open access and licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
-
Take prompt action in cases of ethical concerns or allegations of misconduct, including retractions or corrections if necessary.
